Booking Terms and Conditions for Fishing Trip with Sisu Fishing Oy

Conditions for Booking:

 

Booking a fishing trip requires a written or electronic booking request from Sisu Fishing Oy.

The booking is confirmed only after the customer has received confirmation from Sisu Fishing Oy and paid the required deposit.

 

Booking Confirmation:

 

The booking confirmation includes information about the reserved fishing trip, including the date, duration, departure location, and number of participants.

The booking confirmation serves as an official confirmation of the booking and also includes information about payments and their due dates.

 

Deposit:

 

To confirm the booking, a deposit must be paid, which is 50% of the total price of the reserved service, including any additional services ordered. (unless otherwise agreed)

Paying the deposit ensures the validity of the booking and binds the parties to the agreement.

 

Payment Terms:

 

The final payment, including the costs of any additional services ordered, must be paid 7 days before the start of the fishing trip according to the agreed schedule. Payment methods and terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation Policy:

 

Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees vary depending on the timing:

More than 30 days before the start of the reserved trip: The deposit will be refunded in full.

30–15 days before the start of the reserved trip: We will refund 50% of the deposit.

15-7 days before the start of the reserved trip: We will refund 25% of the deposit.

Less than 7 days before the start of the reserved trip: The deposit will not be refunded.

 

 

Trip Conditions:

 

Participants in the fishing trip must follow the instructions for using the fishing boat and equipment for safety reasons.

Participants must follow the instructions and safety regulations provided by the captain throughout the trip.

 

 

Weather-Appropriate Attire:

 

Customers must dress appropriately for the weather and equip themselves with appropriate clothing and gear for the fishing trip, taking into account weather conditions and potential fluctuations.

It is recommended to wear a hat, as well as sunglasses or similar eye protection.

 

 

Insurance:

 

Participants are insured during the trip when damage is caused by Sisu Fishing. In other cases, participants must ensure adequate insurance coverage for the duration of the trip.

 

Limitation of Liability:

 

Sisu Fishing Oy is not responsible for personal or property damages to participants during the trip unless the damage is caused by intentional or gross negligence of Sisu Fishing Oy.

 

Fishing Payment Fee:

 

Participants are responsible for paying their own fishing license fees. Sisu Fishing Oy does not cover fishing license fees and is not responsible for any consequences of their neglect.

 

Special Dietary Requirements and Allergies:

 

Participants must inform us of any special dietary requirements or allergies in advance, so that we can arrange appropriate food options if necessary.

 

Legal Requirements:

 

Participants must comply with local laws and regulations during the fishing trip, including fishing quotas and restrictions.
